No remaining capcity available in planning period (CY744 & C7056)

Hi Everyone,

 

We are having an issue with dispatching production orders into 2016, messages CY744 & C7056 appear.

 

I have attached a screen print of the errors. The factory calendar we are using is created until 01.12.9999

 

The work centers have not changed.

 

Is there anything else that needs to be completed before the capacity planning can move job into 2016?

MD04 - Vendor permanent Display

Hi Experts,

 

In MD04 we can display vendor using push button. Is there any way to display it permanently depending upon the user executing it ?

I had checked in MD04 user settings, no such option available. I had checked there is no such option available in SPRO. I had checked in this forum some enhancements are suggested. But I just want to know is there any simple way to have this ?

For example - is there any get-set user parameter available for this ? Or any SPRO option available ?

Purchase Requestion is getting created with change in lot size in MRP

Dear Experts,

 

When we run MRP with Lot Size MB

Planned Order is created.

Planned Delivery Time is 100. Opening Period is 10. Requirement of finished material is for 1,2nd and 3rd week of november So according to me system should do forward scheduling. But in below pic i am not getting this.Pic2.png

 

Where as if i run the same material with lot size WB PR is getting created

How to split up operations over a two week period

Hello,

 

I have a routing for a production order that I am trying to split up over a two week period.

 

I have a production order that spans over a two week period and I have 3 operations that happen during this time.

 

Staging - 0010

Assembly - 0030

Testing - 0040

 

I would like staging to just assigned to the first week of the capacity planning. Then have assembly split equal time over the two weeks and have testing just show up during the second week.

 

Right now when I look at the capacity report it shows that testing is split up over a two week period when it only is being done the second week. It is throwing my capacity reporting off because it is splitting it up over a two week period.

 

Can someone help me figure out how to just have testing show up during the second week in a routing?

co-product without goods receipt

Hello,

 

We have a Unit, which produce Product and Co-product.

So I have to plan this Co-product in the BOM. After that I create process order which contains this Co-product. But we have two situations:

1. We produce Product and Co-product. It is normal.

2. We produce Product only. So we do goods receipt Product. and doesn't do goods receipt of Co-product. But our module CO says that it wrong. If process order contain Co-product it is obligatory to do doods receipt of Co-product.

What should we do in this situation, because when we create process order we don't know if we will have Co-product or not? It possible to create process order for Co-product, but Controlling says that it is wrong according to costs.

MTO - REM but FI settlement at product cost collector

Lets say I use MTO - REM process. can Finance still do their period settlement using product cost collectors and not settle at sales order level? can we even achieve that?

 

or is it hard coded that if I use MTO scenario, then I have to do order level settlement?

In-House Production time and Routing Scheduling

Hello,

 

What is the correct strategy for the following scenario: we have parts that have defined routings for the time to setup and produce the parts. Currently our system will date the order according to the routing time when MRP is run. Typically this means the system assumes the order will be run the day it is created. The load on our machines is typically 3-4 days and I would like to add this time to the dating of the order. I can add a GR Processing time to force the date later but this does not seem like the correct strategy. Is there some way I can link the dating of the order to the current workload on the machine? Or is there an appropriate field in the routing that could add a generic 3 days to the routing?

My scenario is, we have 2 finished goods A and B, they all are using same semi-finished goods S1, but this S1 has 2 versions of bom, one is component R1, and another is component R2. now how to let now A it extract raw material R1, and B extract R2. I tried explosion number, but it doesn't work.

Dear Team,

I am going through the SAP note 1880374. In this the following two solutions have been given.

1. Change the customization in OMJ5 for movement type 262 as "No Check" in stead of "Enter and Check"

2. Change the posting process for mov type 261 and 262 for production order.

     2.1 Unset the back flush indicator

     2.2 Post (261) and cancel (262) material movements in MM transactions like MB1C in stead of CO11 & CO13

     2.3 In MM transaction (eg: MB1C) shelf life date can be entered for mov typ 262

But I am thinking of another solution of "Activating option "Enter and Check" for the mov type 261 in OMJ5". Will this NOT work? Will this configuration make any issue?

Whether there will be any impact If we change Resource in a released Process order

Hi SAP Gurus,

 

I want to know whether there will be any impact If we change resource (from existing to another resource) in a Process order which is already Released  and Control Recipe created. (the initial resource is copied from Recipe which we want to change to another one)

 

I tried in test system and I could see the Storage location of materials in material list was getting changed.

 

Can you please suggest whether there will be any impact when we change the resource and why Storage location is getting changed in material list.

ECM for ROUTING

HI,

 

I just wanted to activate ECM for Routing i.e., when ever i want to do any changes in routing change number is mandatory.

 

I know the process to activate ECM for Routing changes but i have a requirement that, i wanted to activate change number only WHEN WE WANTED TO DO CHANGES ONLY FOR STANDARD VALUES but not all (viz. changing in Text/work center/lot size etc etc)

 

Is there any possible ways to cater the requirement???

Planning Table: MF50 - Production Version field is Disabled for changing Quantities

Hi All,

 

We are using Repetitive Manufacturing and are facing an issue with Planning Table.

 

For a Particular Plant, in Planning Table MF50 after giving the necessary Input - Plant, Material / Production Line and moving into the Change Mode of the Planning Table, we are not able to edit the Quantities that have been allocated against the Production Version Field.

 

This is a new plant and the issue exists for all the Finished Products associated for this Plant.

 

Is there any specific reason behind the same or is there any configuration missing as far as Planning table is concerned with respect to Plant.

 

We have checked for other plants where the user is able to edit the quantities.

MD11 planned orders with extra operations

Hi experts,

 

I have a scenario where i will get a route from an external planning system through PI, and sometimes the operations can be in different places, in that case a new operation - "TRANSPORT" has to be added between the actual operations.

Now upon receiving this data, a planned order has to be created with the extra operation, we have been trying to achieve it by using BAPI_PLANNEDORDER_CREATE, but are unable to insert the extra operation, the list of operations gets picked up from standard.

Can anybody help me with this.

CO11N - The Goods Movements screen does not propose the 101 movements for the co-products

Hi folks, I hope you are doing great.

 

I am facing some issues with co-product automatic goods receipt, I have a production order with the components:

The operation has the control key with Automatic Goods Receipt:

But on CO11N when I try to enter a time ticket:

The problem is: The Goods Movements screen does not propose the 101 movements for the co-products 602851 and 602854.

I want to change basic unit of measurement  for material . since material does not have any transnational data it is not having any bom or routing . I have tried in mass also but not sucessfull

pls suggest .

Hi Gurus...

we have created a customized Info structure S9XXX with characteristics Sales Org, Product group/Material and Plant for consistent planning.

Update rules are also customized to pull a program and make specific calculations stored in 2 customized Key figures, also we have in this table the standard key figures that Standard SOP table(S076) has, Hierarchy and Planning Type were also created, when we create the planning with transaction MC93 and it is saved into an inactive version all information looks fine when we check it in SE16 (disaggregation by material based on Proportions calculated by historical data and written on Planning hierarchy)  .

 

The issue came up when we transfer this planning data to the Demand Management... as example:

 

In our customized info structure we have the materials A, B, C they belongs to a Product group.

 

A = 100 (in the key figure PRODU) that is the production plan we want to transfer.

B = 200

C = 200

Total(PRODU) = 500

 

What the system is transferring is the "Total" instead of the individual proportion quantities by material as is expected.

 

Can you please help me to understand if there is something I can do to fix it?

Sending in-process inspection lot & inspection plan with production order from SAP to MES ( Third Party ) system.

Hello Experts,

 

We are integrating SAP with MES ( Third Party system), where we are going to send production orders through IDOC to MES. So we found outbound message type LOIPRO to send production order, but we also want to send inprocess inspection lot with it, so that user will do result recording in MES against that production order. That result recording will not come back to SAP. I checked LOIPRO, there I can find QAMV table, but I guess it only send inspection lot information only not inspection plan deatils.

I tried to search all options to send inspection plan, but not able to find it any solution for it. Does it require any customization? I got below tcodes to send mentioned master data of QM to MES:

 

Inspection set-up for material - Message type MATQM - Tcode QL11

Inspection method - Message type QSMT - Tcode - QL31

Inspection Characteristics - Message Type QPMK - Tcode - QL21

Catalog / Code group - Message type QPGR - Tcode - QL41

 

I haven't found anything for Sampling scheme and sampling procedure.

 

Kindly, let me know if there is any standard process from where we can send inspection plan with production order from SAP to MES system. How the whole cycle will work:

 

1. Production order created and released in SAP.

2. PO sent to MES

3. Result recording and PO confirmation done in MES.

4. After final confirmation PO will be sent back to SAP with confirmation details only.

5. How status of PO will change in SAP

Good day all of you,

 

I need your help concerning my case :

 

FING      => this is the part that I will send to customer

COMPC    =>is in the BOM of FING

DirtyC     => This is the Dirty COMP, after production activity

 

 

I would like have after the DP (131) of FING have additional part known as DirtyC withe the same operation

 

 

COMPC + other parts  =============> MFBF (131)  =====> FING and DirtyC

 

 

For the rest of the story, we clean DirtyC and it's become COMPC again with a subcontracting activity. (For that no problem)

 

 

I don't know if it's possible, and for sure I don't know how the parameters it

how to connect sap pp-pi to dcs system

Hi Gurus,

 

Can any one share your experience on connecting DCS (Distributed control system) to sap PP-PI, i need to get the live data from DCS system to sap to plot control charts based on the process parameters. Also would like to know whether can it be connected to sap through RFC like MES or any other means like XI/PI or any other interface.
